- 5 / 5By Simon DoidgeGreat restaurant with superb steak and chips that keeps me coming back several times a year. Also noteworthy is the summer salad which is superb as is the gammon egg and chips. It's not a flashy place but it's got character and the food is always great if you stick to the main menu. I don't understand how this place can currently only be rated 3.7 stars. It's a lot better than that and frankly how the Fritton Arms up the road has a higher score baffles me. Priory and Bell pub are the best places to eat in this neck of the woods.
